Mon Jun 15	B MEET: McLean @ High Point (AWAY) 6840 Woodland Dr, Falls Church, VA 22046 Start: 5:00 PM Warm-up: 5:25 PM End: 9:00 PM (estimated) MONDAY NIGHT (B) MEETS: DEADLINE ALERT: Weekly Monday stroke sign-ups are required by Sunday at 6 PM! You may sign up for 2 events. If you scored in a Saturday meet, you are not eligible to swim that event on Monday night. IM is determined week by week. Timeline: Arrive at High Point by 5:00 pm: swimmers check in with the coaches in the team area. Warm-ups will start at 5:25 pm sharp Swimming will start at 6 pm Event order: free, back, breast, fly, IM (determined week by week) Swimmers may go home when they finish swimming, but staying to cheer is HIGHLY Recommended. Weather: Marlins swim in the rain but not in thunder or lightning. All delays affecting the meet will be communicated via SwimTopia App. Make sure you have the emails of those who will need these communications in your account.
Sat Jun 13	Time Trials - Blue vs White (HOME) 1700 Margie Dr, McLean, VA 22101 Start: 7:30 AM Warm-up: 8:00 AM End: 11:30 AM (estimated) ALL HANDS ON DECK All swimmers are expected to swim every stroke they legally can. These times are what is used to create our swim ladder line up. Coaches will help the younger/newer swimmers know which strokes to swim. ALL MARLINS and the people who love them should be at this meet! Every ounce of Marlin spirit will be needed to make this meet spectacular. More details on volunteer opportunities and meet logistics coming soon! Timeline: Be on the pool deck at 7:30 am in your Marlin suit or another blue/plain suit. Find your team (BLUE vs WHITE) Warm-ups will start at 8 am/8:30 am Swimming will start at 9 am Event order: free, back, breast, fly You can pick up your swimmer’s t-shirt and cap for the season during the meet Once your swimmer has finished swimming, stop by the data table in the snack bar on your way out to sign up for two events you would like to swim at the Monday Meet! 13 + Swimmers: Want Volunteer Hours (7-8 AM)? Volunteer hours may be given to those that request them by Team Rep.
Fri Jun 12	Marlin's Cornhole Tournament MSTA Start: 6:30 PM End: 9:00 PM Marlin's Cornhole Tournament is June 12th! Get ready for a fun-filled day of friendly competition and family festivities! The Marlins swim team is excited to announce the second annual Cornhole Competition! Gather your friends and sign up as a team (2 players per team), or if you’re flying solo, come on down, and we’ll pair you up with a partner. Who will take the title of the best cornhole player at MSTA? Join us to find out! Event Highlights: Cornhole Competition: Show off your skills and compete for the championship! ($25/team (Adults/Kids welcome) Adult Beer Tasting: Courtesy of our sponsor The Casual Pint Dunn Loring, adults 21+ can enjoy a fantastic variety of craft beers. You are the unsung heroes of the Monday night meets- You volunteer, you solve dinner, and you make it happen. Let's take a night out to celebrate the Marlins and FEAST in anticipation of an amazing season. Date: 7 June 2026 SUNDAY- DATE CHAGED Time: 5:30 pm Location: Thompson Italian, Falls Church (124 N Washington St, Falls Church, VA 22046) Join us to take advantage of their Monday special: Any bowl of pasta + any glass of wine for $30 RSVP is required to ensure we have enough space for our Marlin Moms! Tue May 26	PRACTICE: Marlin Practice Update MSTA Memorial Day/Student's Off from School Due to the long weekend and teacher work days, we will hold two practice times May 26th and 27th. 1. Time Age Group 7:15 am – 8:15 am 13 and older 8:20 am – 9:20 am 11–12-year-olds 9:20 am – 10:15 am 9–10-year-olds 10:15 am – 11 am 8 and under 2. All age groups 5 pm - 6 pm

Mon May 18	PRACTICE: Swim Practices Begin (PM) 1700 Margie Dr, McLean, VA 22101 Start: 3:45 PM End: 6:30 PM 3:45–4:45 PM (13+) (4:45-5 PM Dryland) 4:45–5:30 PM (8 & under) (5:30-5:45 PM Dryland) 5:30–6:30 PM (9-12) Dryland will occur during the practice. Swimmers must practice with their age group. Dryland practice will occur after practices (~15 mins).
Sun May 17	Meet the Coaches, Suit Up and Happy Hour 1700 Margie Dr, McLean, VA 22101 Start: 4:00 PM End: 6:00 PM TODAY IS THE DAY to get your swimsuits! Sports Fair will be on hand to help size swimmers for their team suits. Can't make this event? NO PROBLEM. This weekend only, suits will be available for purchase online at the Marlins Webstore. (LINK TBD) Sports Fair also has Marlin suits in store. Stop by at your convenience and they will assist with fitting your swimmer in time for time trials. 5010 Langston Blvd, Arlington, VA, 22207 Parents can bring their own beverages, head to the back of the pool to meet, and we will answer any lingering questions. Sat May 16	McLean Day Lewinsville Park, 1659 Chain Bridge Rd Start: 11:00 AM End: 4:00 PM Festival Saturday, May 16, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Lewinsville Park, 1659 Chain Bridge Rd. Free admission. Enjoy carnival rides, games, food, entertainment, giveaways, performances, and food trucks at the festival! Ride tickets sold on-site and on-line. Wear a Marlin Tee and get a free wristband.
Sat May 9	MSTA Pool Clean-Up Day 1700 Margie Dr, McLean, VA 22101 Start: 8:00 AM End: 12:00 PM (estimated) Help pitch in to get the pools, tennis courts and grounds ready for opening day, Saturday, May 23! This might be the most important day of the year for our club, which relies on its families to volunteer to get the facilities ready for the season. You don't have to have any special skills, just a willingness to help! Even if you just have an hour to spare, please just show up. There will be plenty to do. We start at about 8 a.m. and keep going until we are done. If you have special equipment you can share, or have any questions, please contact us at president@mcleanswimandtennis.org.
